Applications are hereby invited from qualified applicants of Akwa Ibom State origin to fill the following vacant positions in the State Civil Service.

1	Medical Consultant GL 15	– MBBS/MBBCH Certificate or its equivalent from a recognised Medical School and -Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Fellowship of the West African Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent in the relevant specialty from a recognised Institution. – All qualifications must be registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
2	Medical/ Dental Officer GL 12	MBBS from a recognised University and evidence of provisional registration with MDCN
3	Pharmacist GL 10	B.PHARM from a recognised University, and evidence of provisional Registration
4	Pharmacy Technician GL 07	Candidates must have completed the prescribed three years training programme at the School of Health Technology for Technician cadre.
5	Medical Laboratory Scientist GL 10	B.sc in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognised University and evidence of registration with MLCN.
6	Medical Laboratory Technician GL 07	Candidates must have successfully completed a three year training programme in a recognised institution and the registration of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology of Nigeria for Technician Cadre.
7	Radiographer GL 10	B.sc in Radiography and registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.
8	X-ray Technician GL 07	Candidates must have completed a three- year training programme in a recognised health institution.
9	Biomedical Engineer GL 09	A degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognised institution.
10	Staff Nurse GL O7	NRN and evidence of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
11	Staff Nurse/Midwife GL 08	NRN plus NRM and evidence of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
12	Nursing Officer  GL 08	A degree in Nursing and evidence of the registration of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
13	Health Education Officer GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Physiology or Health Science from a recognized University
14	Community Health Technician GL 07	Candidates must have successfully completed a three- year training programme in a recognised health institution and the registration of the National Council for Community Health Practice Board of Nigeria for technician cadres.
15	Medical Record Officer GL 08	HND in Health Record Administration/Health Information Management and evidence of registration with the Health Records Registration Board of Nigeria.
16	Medical Record Technician GL 07	Candidates must have completed a three-year training programme in a recognized health institution and must be registered with the Health Records Registration Board of Nigeria
17	Inspector of Taxes II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or Economics obtained from a recognised Institution.
18 a   B	Higher Technical Officer ( Mechanical) GL08   Higher Technical Officer ( Electrical) GL08	HND in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institution   HND in Electrical Engineering from a recognised Institution
19 a   B	Petroleum Engineer II GL 08   Civil Engineer II GL 08	B.ENG (Petroleum) from a recognised University   B.ENG ( Civil) from a recognised University
20	Senior State Counsel GL 10	Candidate must be legally qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria
21	Lands Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management or Land Economy from a recognised University

28	Education Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Education from a recognized University
29	Fisheries Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Fisheries, Biology, Agricultural Biochemistry or Agriculture from a recognised University
30	Admin Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines of Social Science or Humanity from a recognised University
31	Commercial Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce of Marketing from a recognised University
32	Forest Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Zoology, Botany, Biology, Forest Resources Management from a recognized University
33	Higher Data Processing Officer GL 08	HND in Computer Studies or Data Processing from a recognised Institution
34	Scientific Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines in Natural or Applied Sciences
35	Higher Executive Officer (Accounts) GL 08	HND in Accounts from a recognised Institution
36	Environmental Management Officer II GL 08	Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management or Technology from any Institution recognised by the Environmental Management Association of Nigeria
37	HEO (GD) GL 08	HND in Business Administration or Public Administration from a recognised  Institution
38	Planning Officer II G/L 08	Bachelor’s degree in Economics preferably with Statistics, Econometrics or Development Planning as a subject from a recognised University.
